The Longxing Ancient Town, located in the southeast of Yubei District, Chongqing Municipality, about 36 kilometers from the city center, is one of the 100 wealthiest towns in Chongqing and is known for its historical and cultural heritage as well as its landscape – and fresh air.
Longxing, governing 2 communities and 21 administrative villages, all with traditional customs, is becoming increasingly known as a tourist destination.
The town boasts many restaurants, hotels, markets and a convenient public transport system, and also a public square, modern office buildings, and commercial pedestrian streets, as well as Longhu Water Park and ecological garden.
