A 32-year-old woman in Chongqing municipality recently received a special request from her husband, who asked to spend the upcoming Spring Festival with his pregnant lover.

The woman, surnamed Zhu, who married eight years ago, said her husband told her that his lover had to undergo an operation after being diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy. He wanted to stay with her during the festival.
