Liangjiang trains talents for robotic companies

A training session co-organized by Chongqing Liangjiang Robotics Training and Application Center (College), and Changan Automobile was held in Liangjiang New Area, liangjiang.gov.cn reported on Jan 9.

The training program aims to cultivate high-level technical talents in the field of industrial robots to meet the demands of Changan Automobile.

Lu Yuhua, CEO of the Chongqing Liangjiang Robotics Training and Application Center, said that the college is a vital part of the Liangjiang New Area’s “one-area-and-five-platform” mechanism, which will build the industrial chain for robotics industry.

Lu noted that the customized training session will not only foster industry workers and solve the problem of the shortage of skilled people, but also help the area form a national robotics industry cluster.

Robotics is a strategic emerging industry in Chongqing Municipal city, and Liangjiang New Area is the main area for developing the robotics industry in Chongqing. Liangjiang plans to complete a two-square-kilometer industrial park by 2020, which is expected to attract over 200 enterprises and achieve an annual output value of 50 billion yuan ($7.21 billion).
