Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality has rolled out a campaign to beef up the cultivation of specialized and new enterprises. According to the cultivation plan, the new area will soon be home to 500 municipal specialized and new firms and 50 national specialized and new "little giant" companies.

Centering on key areas such as automobiles, electronic information, high-end manufacturing, life and health, new materials, digital economy and modern services, the cultivation plan supports potential special and new firms in pyramid cultivation, technological innovation, product quality improvement, finance, talent team formation and public services.

A special cultivation reserve will be set up in Liangjiang, and at least 100 seed firms will be registered in the reserve to receive targeted assistance in becoming specialized or new companies.

The new area will regularly hold online and on-site technology commercialization activities and improve its public technology service system to better serve small and medium-sized enterprises in R&D, product development, and application demonstration.

In addition, a high-quality service work station will be built to offer one-stop services to specialized and new firms in testing, certification, lab construction, quality control, consultation and training.

Every year, Liangjiang will hold special recruitment fairs for specialized and new enterprises and help them find the kind of talent they need in a timely manner through targeted human resource services.
