For the three-day New Year holiday that will last from Dec 31 to Jan 2, Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality has planned a series of cultural and tourist activities and scenic spot ticket discount programs to promote the recovery of local tourism and beef up consumption.

The Liangjiang Movie City opened again to the public on Dec 28, and all scenic areas in the movie city are offering free entry until Jan 16. Visitors will no longer be required to show health codes, itinerary codes, or negative nucleic acid test results when entering the movie city.
