The social development bureau and the publicity department of Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality organized 20 grass-roots performances to help get residents into the holiday spirit as the Spring Festival approaches.

These performances last from Jan 14 to 20.

A performance staged at a local community on Jan 14 featured dancing, singing, cross talks and magic shows, and proved popular among audiences.
