Acting as a center for innovation in the upper reaches of Yangtze River, Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area has built a good environment for university graduates to start their own businesses.

Huang Jian, a 24-year-old graduate from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, started a company called Chongqing Aiston Cultural Media Co. Based in Liangjiang, the company's current monthly sales volume exceeds 100,000 yuan ($16,120).

"Thanks to Liangjiang's enterprise incubation platform, I received much support in starting my business," said Huang.

Huang planned to start his business when he was a second year university student and set up a media studio with his classmates. "At that time, our team didn't have a good platform to sell our products," said Huang.

In 2012, staff members from Zhubajie.com, China's biggest e-commerce platform, promoted their platform at Huang's university. After hearing their speech, Huang decided to construct his own sales platform on Zhubajie.com. Constructing the sales platform on Zhubajie.com meant that he saved a lot of time that would have been spent physically promoting his products. In addition to inspiring him to set up his own sales platform, staff members from Zhubajie.com discussed sales strategies with Huang and gave him advice.

With the support of Zhubajie.com, Huang's business started to show signs of growth and in 2014 Huang officially opened his own company.
