Chongqing Cross-Border E-commerce Taiwan Industrial Park settled in Liangjiang on Nov 10, Chongqing Daily reported.
The park will adopt a market-oriented model and allow Chinese consumers to shop faster and more easily.
Their website, aiming to promote Taiwan products in Chongqing market, also went online.
Over 100 Taiwan items are available, covering food, and infant products, with prices 10 percent lower than supermarkets and shopping malls.
Zhang Ling, vice-chairman of the Chongqing municipal CPPCC, attended the ceremony and briefly introduced the city’s measures in promoting exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan.
She noted that Chongqing approved 1441 Taiwan-funded enterprises, among which 195 were registered with more than $10 million. The city has already attracted $26.9 billion capital from Taiwan.
