Liangjiang launches start-up guidebook

Liangjiang recently launched a handbook for start-up companies, liangjiang.gov.cn reported on Nov 11.

The guidebook introduced the business environment and policies of Liangjiang New Area, which offers detailed training and services to businesspeople.

Liangjiang New Area has been working on three pillar industries: automobiles, information technology, and equipment. It has cultivated nine strategic emerging industries relating to technology and medicine.

It will also develop finance, exhibitions, e-commerce, and modern logistics.

The New Area boasts sound infrastructure including the biggest inland compound airport and the biggest port in the upstream Yangtze River.

Liangjiang New Area Innovation Bureau also launched eight policies to guarantee funding, housing, and medical services to innovators who consider settling down at the area.

The fiscal authority allocated funds for scientific research in the area. Private equity is also available for manufacturing, technology and modern services.

Scientific companies will get rent subsidies for three years. The guideline also introduced in detail the procedure of settling down at the industrial park.

Liangjiang aims to become a top innovation center in China with international influence through cloud computing, internet of things, robots, new energy and smart automobiles.
