Liangjiang New Area will work harder on trade of services, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.
The area will develop patterns for service trading, enhancing its convenience and completing its governing policies.
Liangjiang enjoys a solid foundation on which to develop the practice arising from its standard legal environment, sound financial resources and efficient supervision.
Accelerating development of the Internet, e-commerce, cloud computing and big data industries, Liangjiang has attracted top ten software companies in Chongqing, and national software, service outsourcing, digital press, culture creativity and high-tech businesses.
Service outsourcing in Liangjiang New Area in 2015 totaled $40 million. The e-commerce volume added up to 400 million yuan ($62 million). The area has brought in over 230 companies in trade, logistics, and finance.
Aiming to be a center for international trade, international logistics, advanced manufacturing, R&D and capital operations, Liangjiang will establish a service trade innovation development fund to develop cross-border RMB businesses, cross-border e-commerce, settlement centers, cultural creativity, and research and development design.
The Liangjiang New Area will play an increasingly important role in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the national economy transforms from industrial- driven to services-driven.
