The Shuitu Industrial Area of the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area recently said it has helped 15,000 relocated people find jobs since its establishment six years ago.
The area provides trainings to villagers seeking jobs in urban areas because of relocation.
The trainings provided bear in mind both the market's demands and the people's interest.
They included teaching of traditional craftsmanship and modern vocational skills.
The trainees later have improved prospects as cleaners, housekeepers, lathe workers, fitters and in similar roles.
