Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality signed a cooperation agreement with Inspur on April 1 to carry out in-depth cooperation in the industrial internet area.
The agreement will utilize Inspur's industrial internet R&D resources to promote the construction of an industrial internet public service platform, as well as allow Liangjiang and Inspur to co-establish an industrial internet industrial fund to boost and bolster the industrial internet industry in Liangjiang.
The agreement is expected to accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading in Chongqing, deepen big data innovation, as well as help Chongqing become a city that is known for smart manufacturing.
As a leading cloud computing and big data provider in China, Inspur provides products and services to over 120 countries and areas in the world. Inspur's In-Cloud industrial internet platform has provided solutions to 10 major industries and was selected as one of China's top 10 cross field industrial internet platforms.
Currently, Liangjiang has built a promising industrial ecological environment. It is home to one third of Chongqing's 208 national and municipal industrial internet pilot projects, ranking first among all districts in Chongqing.
In addition, Liangjiang possesses 75 percent of Chongqing's automobile industry and 50 percent of Chongqing's electronic information industry, providing abundant application scenarios for industrial internet.
In the future, Liangjiang will aim to build an industrial internet demonstration base by increasing network infrastructure construction, launching supporting policies, supporting companies in using cloud platforms, improving the intelligent level of the automobile industry, creating a better industrial internet industrial ecosystem, and improving the shortcomings in its digital infrastructure construction.
