News from Chongqing Liangjiang Coordinative Zone suggested that the Mingyue Lake International Smart Industry Innovation Park has successfully cultivated two innovative firms by combining smart hardware innovation with a new type of engineering education and offering young entrepreneurs assistance in finance, technology, supply chains and talent.

The innovation park was initiated by Liangjiang New Area and Professor Li Zexiang from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. It is located around Mingyue Lake and its stated mission is to train ambitious young people from local universities and research institutions to become outstanding entrepreneurs and managers.

Young people who study here learn quickly, and the companies they set up are more likely to change the world utilizing resources provided by the park.

To date, the park has held four scientific innovation training camps, attracting more than 1,000 people to sign up, and has developed 28 creative smart hardware product samples.

Shitieshou Tech Co is one of the two firms cultivated by the park, with its staff members coming from renowned domestic universities such as Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi’an Jiaotong University. The firm successfully integrates drones, robots, AI, and IOT into agricultural production.

"I think being young grants us more opportunities, so I've given myself three years to start my own business," said Zhou Yongfeng, founder of the company, who refused several offers from leading technology companies.

The other firm fostered by the park is Luzai Tech Co, which developed a mite-killing device for beauty blenders. The product is tailored to people with sensitive skin and helps maintain facial hygiene and health.
