Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Investment Invitation Group is a State-owned enterprise under the direct management of the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee. The group takes responsibility for the investment attraction in the new area, formulates plans based on the industry development direction and major projects, organizes project introductions and major events for trading and investment promotion, and establishes platforms for regional economic cooperation and international industrial collaboration.

The group has seven industry-focused departments for automobiles, equipment and materials, integrated circuits, display and intelligent terminals, bio-medicine, software, and high-end services. It also sets up a general administrative office, a regional office responsible for domestic investments and projects, especially from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Pearl River Delta, and an international department responsible for platform establishment, project information gathering, foreign capital and international affairs coordination, and major investment promotion activities.
