Digital economy industrial center opens in Liangjiang

The 91 Sci-tech (Liangjiang) Digital Economy Industrial Center officially opened on Nov 16 at the lakeside of the Mingyue Lake, Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

With a total construction area exceeding 10,000 square meters, the new industrial center is expected to mainly bring in enterprises from the fields of AI, internet and big data, software, games, and animation. So far, over 10 digital economy companies have agreed to settle in the center.

Zhang Bin, deputy director of the new area's administrative committee, attended the inauguration ceremony for the center, stating that Mingyue Lake is cultivating new internet business models based on digital twins, augmented reality, and digital humans. 91 Tech Group Co can play a significant role in driving the regional coordinated development as a sci-tech financial enterprise that facilitates the digital transformation of the real economy.

Xu Zewei, founder, chairman, and CEO of 91 Tech Group Co, cited the statistics that Liangjiang's digital economy added value accounted for one-third of Chongqing's total and pledged that the new industrial center is set to introduce relevant enterprises as scheduled, based on the friendly business environment and favorable location of the new area.

The group also inked strategic collaboration agreements with local technology firms, universities, and banks on the same day.
