On April 10, the second Western Disaster Reduction and Emergency Rescue Expo was held in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

The exhibition focused on showcasing cutting-edge equipment in emergency information technology, meteorological disaster prevention, fire safety equipment, smart firefighting, fire vehicles, water rescue, and emergency equipment.

One highlight of the expo was a tank-like drainage and rescue robot that can descend stairs and pump dirty water. This versatile and highly durable robot serves as an effective assistant in emergency rescue operations. It can autonomously enter designated areas and perform drainage work in areas such as underground parking lots, tunnels, and culverts where rescuers and large drainage equipment are unable to access.

Drones have become a new powerful firefighting and rescue tool due to their agility, ease of operation, and comprehensive aerial imaging capabilities. The ZY-XF100 heavy-duty firefighting and rescue drone features a modular design, allowing it to freely switch between emergency rescue and firefighting modes. It is equipped to perform various functions, such as mounting firefighting hoses and releasing firefighting-related projectiles.

The expo also showcased comprehensive rescue equipment and gear for firefighting, water rescue, hazardous chemicals, geological disasters, and building accidents.

Visitors could immerse themselves in simulated scenarios such as falls from steep heights, impacts from falling objects, and electric shocks.
