Intl battery fair opens in Chongqing

On April 27, the 16th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2024) opened in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, marking the first time the exhibition has been held in the municipality.

The exhibition, organized by the China Industrial Association of Power Sources, covers a total area of nearly 180,000 square meters spanning 14 exhibition halls, with over 2,200 well-known enterprises participating.

Leading companies along the entire battery industrial chain gathered in Chongqing for the exhibition, including industry giants such as CATL and BYD and internationally renowned companies like Siemens.

Chongqing has gradually become a hub for the battery industry in Southwest China. At the same time, as an important city in the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Chongqing has also contributed to the global export of battery products.

The exhibition has also attracted professional visitors and overseas buyers from over 50 countries and regions worldwide, including leading lithium-ion battery developer KORE Power from the United States, Neogen Chemicals Ltd from India, and Applied Materials Web Coating GmbH from Germany.

The exhibition will also invite numerous academicians, experts, scholars, industry elites, and entrepreneurs to deliver more than 200 academic reports and keynote speeches.
