Excellent engineer competition to open in Chongqing

The Global Excellent Engineers Competition 2024 will be held from September to November, organized by government bodies and universities in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, including the administrative committee of Liangjiang New Area and the National Elite Institute of Engineering of Chongqing University.

Themed on "Pursue excellence, Create a smart future", the competition features three types of contests that span intelligent connected and new energy vehicles, new-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, advanced materials, biomedicine and healthcare, modern agriculture and food, sustainability and environmental protection, and other comprehensive fields.

This year's competition is for digital technology engineers, mainly focusing on big data, smart manufacturing and digitalized management.

The winning projects will be prioritized for designation as municipal sci-tech innovation projects.
