In the assembly workshop of the SERES Auto Super Factory, located in Liangjiang New Area, cutting-edge technologies have significantly enhanced inspection processes.

For instance, chassis screw inspections can now be completed almost instantly: as cars pass by, an industrial camera captures images, and the data is immediately sent to a database. Any defects trigger an alert in the system, explained Wang Chengwei, director of the manufacturing department at SERES.

With over 300 intelligent inspection points and the integration of big data, the factory has fully automated key process inspections.

Equipped with more than 1,000 intelligent devices and over 3,000 robots, the assembly workshop can produce a car every 30 seconds at full capacity, according to Wang.

The inspection system, developed by THESEUS, an AI company specializing in smart vision equipment and solutions for the automobile and semiconductor industries, equips robots with "eyes" and "brains" to enhance their performance.

THESEUS has created various systems, including a 5G smart welding detection big data platform and AI smart management software, to ensure quality and boost productivity. It collaborates closely with leading car manufacturers to advance intelligent manufacturing.

Liangjiang has introduced several policies to support enterprises in adopting new technologies and implementing intelligent transformations, including financial support of up to 5 million yuan ($696,823.06) for eligible projects.

The area currently boasts 26 intelligent factories and 121 digital workshops. It continues to support enterprises, particularly leading firms and specialized SMEs, in their digital transformation efforts, aiming to expand digitalization.
