In August, Liangjiang New Area commenced or completed six projects, with a total investment of 5.8 billion yuan ($813.11 million).
Three projects are new commencements, and three are completions. They cover areas such as new quality productive forces and infrastructure construction. According to authorities, these projects aim to further enhance the area's industrial capabilities, address urban functional deficiencies, and foster new momentum for high-quality development.
One of the commencement projects, the hydrogen energy power phase II project, is funded by the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co. It aims to establish a quality inspection center focusing on testing, inspection, and analysis, which will enhance the testing capabilities of new energy and new energy vehicles.
Among the completed projects, the Jinyu School phase II project, with a total construction area of 24,000 square meters, will provide 24 primary school classes that accommodate 1,080 students. It aims to meet the educational needs of children in the area, offering compulsory education resources and enhancing the quality of basic education in the region.
