Chongqing Lanshan Automotive Electronics Co, based in Liangjiang New Area, is making significant strides in the automotive Micro Controller Unit (MCU) market.

Specializing in MCUs and supporting power chips, Lanshan Electronics is dedicated to providing comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

Founded in 2022, Lanshan Electronics has quickly advanced under the leadership of Li Tao, who brings over a decade of experience from top domestic chip companies. Li has emphasized the higher demands placed on automotive chips than ordinary consumer chips.

"The automotive chip market is currently dominated by European and Japanese companies, including NXP, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, and Texas Instruments", said Li. "Automotive chips require rigorous standards, undergoing numerous stages such as front-end design, back-end design, wafer fabrication, packaging, testing, reliability testing, and automotive-grade product certification. These chips' safety, durability, and reliability demand extensive testing and significant investment in human and material resources".

Lanshan Electronics has developed over 10 products in just over two years, with four currently in the testing phase. The company adheres to a dual strategy: promoting domestic substitution and strengthening the supply chain while collaborating closely with automotive manufacturers to define chip specifications jointly.

Lanshan Electronics is committed to keeping pace with global trends in the automotive chip market by developing industry-leading, standardized products.

"We are dedicated to enhancing our R&D efforts and fostering partnerships with automotive companies to ensure our chips meet the highest standards", Li highlighted. "Our goal is to contribute to the growth of the domestic semiconductor industry while competing globally".
