As of the end of June, the number of individual businesses in Liangjiang New Area reached 67,141, marking a year-on-year growth of 12.02 percent. In the first half of this year alone, 7,896 new individual businesses were established, reflecting a 4.29 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

The majority of these individual businesses are concentrated in the tertiary sector, particularly in wholesale and retail, accommodation and catering, and resident services, repair, and other service industries. These businesses form a crucial part of the area's real economy.

This strong performance can be largely attributed to a series of measures implemented by the authorities, including establishing supportive mechanisms, implementing favorable policies, enhancing service quality, and promoting business transformation to create a conducive environment for the growth of individual businesses.

Liangjiang has also actively collaborated with financial institutions to provide diverse financial services and support to individual businesses. This collaboration has helped these businesses overcome financing challenges and achieve stable growth.

Additionally, in-depth surveys on the operational status of individual businesses have been conducted to understand their development, identify their challenges and difficulties, and gather their policy expectations. This information provides strong support for formulating more precise assistance policies.
