Wuling Mountain Grand Canyon

Just a two-hour drive from Chongqing's city center, the Wuling Mountain Grand Canyon is appealing due to its lush greenery and cool breeze. Its majestic and rugged mountains provide a breathtaking backdrop for various outdoor activities, making it an ideal escape from the summer heat.

816 Engineering Site

Recognized as a national 4A scenic spot and listed in the "China Industrial Heritage Protection Directory" in 2018, the 816 Engineering Site is an underground marvel.

Often referred to as the "Underground Great Wall", this site boasts a unique industrial aesthetic and technological ambiance. The largest chamber inside the cavern reaches a height of 79.6 meters and covers an area of 13,000 square meters.

Visitors can also enjoy immersive performances that transport them back to the era when the People's Liberation Army and scientists were constructing this monumental project, which took 18 years to complete.

Dianyi Garden

For those seeking tranquility, Dianyi Garden is the perfect place. Away from the bustling crowds, this serene location allows visitors to slow down and appreciate the moment.

The garden features inscriptions and literary works from various historical periods, dating back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). A leisurely walk along the stone paths leads to the Guanlan Pavilion, offering panoramic views of Fuling's urban landscape.

Riverboat tours

Fuling boasts picturesque views where the Yangtze and Wujiang rivers converge. A riverboat tour provides a unique perspective of the district's waterfront scenery. Visitors can relax on the deck, feel the cool river breeze, and take in the stunning views along the two rivers.

The district's Fuling Pickle Historical Memory Museum is also worth a visit, showcasing the traditional methods used to make Fuling pickles, a craft that has been passed down through the generations. They can also taste authentic Fuling pickles and various dishes made with this local delicacy.
