Liangjiang New Area has completed an investment of 13.32 billion yuan ($1.87 billion) in major projects during the first three quarters of this year, as reported by local media on Oct 15.

A key highlight is the expansion of Liangjiang New Area People's Hospital. The project has passed fire safety inspections for its outpatient, science and education, and infection buildings, with surrounding municipal facilities rapidly advancing.

The expansion covers approximately 265,000 square meters and includes an outpatient building, a medical technology building, an inpatient complex, a science and education building, and an infectious disease area. It is planned to have a capacity of 1,000 beds.

Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the local healthcare environment and improve residents' access to medical services.

Another major project, the Shanwaishan Hemodialysis Industrial Park, has also commenced construction. It will span 120 square meters and feature a research and development center, a hemodialysis equipment production base, and a high-value consumables production base. The total investment is 2 billion yuan.

It will also include multiple production lines for hemodialysis equipment, spinning, and dialyzers, covering the entire industrial chain in the hemodialysis field. Once operational, the park is expected to generate an annual output value of 3 billion yuan.

Additionally, the second phase of the Guoyuan Port International Economic Industrial Park, which includes offices, apartments, commercial hotels, and parking facilities, is progressing.

These projects underscore Liangjiang's commitment to economic development and innovation, positioning it as a key player in regional growth and industrial advancement.
