SWS Hemodialysis Care Co in Liangjiang New Area has announced that in the first three quarters of this year, its hemodialysis machines and blood purification equipment achieved market shares of 20.09 percent and 16.43 percent, respectively, once again leading the entire industry.

SWS is the only company in China's blood purification industry listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. In the first three quarters of this year, its operating revenue reached 140 million yuan ($19.23 million).

SWS has also invested 2 billion yuan in constructing a new blood purification industrial park in Liangjiang, achieving full industrial chain coverage in the blood purification field.

This provides a glimpse into Liangjiang's efforts to accelerate the cultivation and growth of high-tech enterprises. It is currently home to more than 1,100 high-tech enterprises.

Since the beginning of this year, high-tech enterprises in Liangjiang have focused on cutting-edge technologies in areas such as intelligent, connected new energy vehicles, electronic information, and the digital economy.

They have rapidly advanced core technologies in key areas and launched numerous technological achievements at the international forefront.

In November, Talent New Energy and Changan Automobile unveiled their non-diaphragm solid-state lithium battery technology in Liangjiang, which will undergo vehicle verification in 2026. Compared to traditional liquid lithium batteries, this non-diaphragm semi-solid battery significantly improves safety performance, with test results far exceeding national standards.

According to authorities, the area will host 1,350 high-tech and 7,000 technology-based enterprises by 2025.
