Avatr unveiled its latest model, the Avatr 06 in Liangjiang New Area on April 19.

This mid-sized sedan is available in both pure electric and range-extended versions, with five models priced between 209,900 and 279,900 yuan ($38,304).

Zhu Huarong, chairman of Changan Automobile, highlighted that the Avatr 06 is the first luxury car designed for young users and a personal dream car. Avatr has already established over 700 sales outlets in China and is accelerating its international expansion. This year, Avatr aims to enter more than 50 countries, setting up over 160 outlets with a target of 15,000 annual sales, and plans to reach 60,000 units by 2027.

Chen Zhuo, president of Avatr Technology, described the Avatr 06 as the fourth model in the lineup, featuring advanced safety technologies that enhance passive, active, and battery safety. The car's body structure uses over 34-percent ultra-high-strength thermoformed steel, setting an industry benchmark.

The Avatr 06 features a unique front design with dual-strip 7-shaped daytime running lights and vertically integrated headlight assemblies. It includes a Halo interactive display supporting eight scene modes.

Equipped with Huawei's QianKun Intelligent Driving ADS system, the Avatr 06 uses lidar, millimeter-wave radar, and cameras for enhanced safety, especially in adverse conditions.

Created by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, Avatr focuses on integrating global resources and innovation to develop a comprehensive "product + service + ecosystem" value chain. The launch of the Avatr 06, alongside previous models, enriches its product lineup, offering diverse high-quality mobility options.
