The Chongqing MiniGame Industry Base launched on June 25, expanding upon the National Digital Publishing Base in Liangjiang New Area. This initiative aims to foster a dynamic mini-game industry ecosystem and promote the high-quality development of digital content in the city.
The new base is set to offer a wide array of professional services tailored for minigame enterprises. These services include company onboarding, assistance with publication applications, traffic acquisition, promotional activities, integration of Chongqing IPs, and organizing game salons.
The base will implement a series of incentive policies to further support resident enterprises. These include rental discounts, publication rewards, bonuses for high-quality products, and special incentives for talent acquisition and retention.
Chongqing is home to prominent network game publishing entities such as cqnews and Jugo Technology. The city has established a comprehensive service system for network games, encompassing copyright, testing, review services, industry research, and support from associations and think tanks.
Liangjiang has also attracted major digital content companies, including Tencent, Perfect World, and Bilibili. The digital economy in this region represents one-third of the city's total and employs nearly 130,000 digital service professionals.
