The Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Automobile Industry Association was inaugurated on July 4, marking a significant milestone for the region's automotive sector.
The association will focus on enhancing industry self-regulation, fostering communication platforms, conducting in-depth data research, expanding collaboration networks, and refining service systems. These initiatives aim to turn Liangjiang into a globally renowned hub for intelligent connected new energy vehicles.
With 48 members onboard, including industry stalwarts such as Deepal and Avatr, the association covers a wide spectrum of activities ranging from whole vehicle manufacturing to components, sales, and aftermarket services.
Deng Ke, director of the Liangjiang modern service industry bureau, outlined the area's strategic push towards electrification, intelligence, connectivity, and sharing within the automobile industry. He said that Liangjiang has established a comprehensive industrial ecosystem encompassing research, manufacturing, support services, and customer care.
The "2024-2025 Chongqing Automobile Distribution Industry Development Report" was also unveiled. This report, structured around macro environment analysis, industry insights, market segmentation, and key trends, aims to guide strategic decision-making and foster growth in the automotive sector.
