Changan Automobile achieves SGS certification

Changan Automobile has been honored with the "China Accredited Witness Test Lab" certificate by SGS, marking a significant milestone for the country's automotive industry.

This distinction positions Changan Automobile as the first automotive enterprise in China to attain such a prestigious certification.

Yi Gang, general manager of Changan Automobile's Intelligent Research Institute, said that the recognition underscores the international standard capabilities of Changan Automobile in intelligent testing and is poised to accelerate Changan Automobile's global expansion initiatives.

With this certification, Changan Automobile gains the privilege to conduct overseas certification tests under the supervision of SGS personnel, with reports endorsed by SGS.

This endorsement is expected to bolster the reception of Changan's intelligent driving, vehicle connectivity, and other cutting-edge technologies among international customers, facilitating market penetration in Europe, Southeast Asia, and other regions.

SGS, a reputable group with a 147-year legacy, operates in 115 countries and regions, boasting over 2,500 branches and laboratories. Eight SGS experts reviewed Changan Automobile's Intelligent Research Institute over a rigorous two-month period, evaluating 17 international certification standards, analyzing 500+ documents, inspecting four testing sites and equipment, and engaging with 30 technical personnel.
