The World Smart Industry Expo (WSIE) 2025 will take place from Sept 5 to 8 at the Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area.
Themed on Artificial Intelligence+ and Intelligent-connected New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), this year's session will feature an opening ceremony, exhibitions, contests, themed activities, product launches, and industry matchmaking events.
The WSIE is a combination of the World Intelligence Congress (Tianjin) and the Smart China Expo (Chongqing), and will be held alternately in the two municipalities.

WSIE 2025 will utilize 5G, mixed reality, and 3D digital simulation to showcase drone delivery, autonomous driving, and human-robot interactions. Through interactive hardware, multimedia systems, and dynamic digital sand tables, the event will present innovations such as flying cars, providing immersive experiences for visitors.
Five specialized sectors will be featured in this year's session: intelligent-connected NEVs, digital cities, intelligent robotics, smart living, and the low-altitude economy.
The intelligent-connected NEVs sector will showcase the latest models, frontier technologies, solutions, and applications, alongside five events, including the Changan Automotive Technology Ecosystem Conference.

The digital cities sector will focus on technology-enabled megacity governance, showcasing Chongqing's advancements in digital infrastructure development.
The intelligent robotics sector will present innovative applications in everyday life while hosting activities such as the Asia-Pacific Robot Cup International Invitational and technical workshops.
The smart living sector will provide immersive experiences, ranging from health monitoring to entertainment systems. It will also highlight elderly care technologies in mobility assistance and companion solutions.
Low-altitude connectivity and service innovations will be showcased at the event, allowing visitors to explore cutting-edge technologies, such as eVTOL flight control systems, firsthand.
The event will establish a business matchmaking zone to facilitate corporate partnerships. Additionally, participating enterprises will conduct one-on-one sessions in districts and industrial parks in Chongqing, developing tailored solutions to address specific operational needs and align with industry demands.
