Liangjiang New Area earned a spot on the "China Development Zone Business Environment Top 100 Cases (2025)" list for its exemplary initiative, "Building a Comprehensive Performance Credit Supervision Mechanism".
The list was unveiled at the 2025 China Development Zone Business Environment Construction Conference in Xiamen, Fujian province.
The conference aimed to highlight and disseminate advanced experiences and innovative practices in business environment optimization across various development zones, offering valuable insights for high-quality development in the country.
Liangjiang's initiative is built on credit construction and powered by a digital platform. It focuses on the contract performance behaviors of six key entities: enterprises, individual businesses, natural persons, social organizations, public institutions, and government agencies.
The initiative has developed four core mechanisms: information aggregation, full-process supervision, collaborative handling, and incentive and punishment systems, creating a new paradigm of supervision that encompasses both governmental and commercial credit.
The mechanism addresses traditional regulatory challenges such as information asymmetry, inefficiency, and lack of collaboration. It achieves precise targeting, collaborative governance, and a balance of rewards and penalties, leading to reduced institutional transaction costs.
Representatives from Liangjiang engaged in in-depth exchanges with other delegates, sharing their experiences in business environment reform and learning from the best practices of other regions.
Liangjiang plans to further enhance its mechanisms in order to foster a market-oriented, law-based, and internationally competitive business environment.
