Kyrgyzstan and Chongqing forge stronger trade ties

The Kyrgyzstan-China (Chongqing) Economic and Trade Cooperation Center was launched in Liangjiang New Area during the China (Chongqing) - Kyrgyzstan Economic and Trade Promotion Conference on Sept 27, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The conference aimed to enhance connectivity in trade, investment, industry, and logistics between Chongqing, its neighboring provinces, and Kyrgyzstan. It brought together government officials, business association leaders, and over 150 enterprise representatives from diverse sectors, including automotive, manufacturing, energy, finance, cross-border e-commerce, and cultural tourism.

The center will provide a comprehensive range of services, such as policy consultation, business negotiations, project promotion, financial support, and administrative assistance.

A representative from the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce emphasized Chongqing's commitment to supporting the center's growth. The city seeks to optimize the cross-border trade service environment and facilitate the implementation of cooperative projects, paving the way for win-win collaboration with Kyrgyzstan.
