A delegation of Arab media professionals recently toured the Seres Super Factory in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, getting an up-close look at the city's state-of-the-art automated production processes and advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities.

The factory boasts hundreds of robotic arms operating to execute complex production commands with speed and precision. Meanwhile, logistics robots navigate the production lines, showcasing a nearly human-free workspace.

A factory representative highlighted, "Our production line is equipped with over 3,000 robots and more than 1,000 AI visual inspection points, ensuring the stable operation of our intelligent manufacturing processes."

In the first three quarters of 2025, Seres reported impressive financial results, with a revenue of 110.53 billion yuan ($15.56 billion) and a net profit of 5.31 billion yuan, a 31.56 percent increase from the previous year.

Mohamed Attahir Khalifa Attalasi from the Libyan National Channel expressed his fascination with the advanced technology that has been integrated into the factory's electric vehicles. He was also impressed by the diverse array of smart devices and innovative functional designs, describing them as dazzling.

Islam Hasan Rassem Mahmoud Albayari, an assistant professor at the University of Palestine, said that the fully automated production lines at the Seres factory underscore China's leadership in intelligent manufacturing. He expressed hope that such cutting-edge technology would soon be introduced to the Middle East.
