The Liangjiang Coordinative Zone, located near Mingyue Lake, has welcomed 14 new high-tech enterprises this year.

Among these new additions are Sydo Tech and Bolaa Smart Computing, companies that operate in high-end equipment, artificial intelligence, new materials, and clean energy.

Sydo Tech has made significant strides by developing a new type of ultra-high-strength steel, offering a "Chinese solution" that reduces the weight of new energy vehicles while enhancing their safety.

The zone is committed to nurturing technology startup projects. Through a model that combines "young talent + technology + new products", the zone has established a comprehensive innovation ecosystem.

This system includes vital components such as youth science and innovation education, new engineering education at universities, an academy for outstanding engineers, a central research institute, and an innovation fund.

The Shanghai Jiao Tong University Chongqing Research Institute plays a pivotal role in this ecosystem, facilitating the localization and transformation of numerous scientific and technological achievements into real-world applications in Chongqing.

The institute has established six joint R&D centers with enterprises and secured technology projects valued at over 48 million yuan ($6.75 million), with services that have enabled enterprises to secure over 100 million yuan in financing.

The zone continues to implement targeted strategies and precise cultivation measures to foster the development of high-tech and specialized enterprises. This includes providing strong guidance, fostering industrial clusters, and optimizing funding processes.

The zone has introduced and incubated a total of 872 innovative enterprises, comprising 253 technology-based companies, 58 high-tech enterprises, 19 specialized new enterprises, and 27 large-scale enterprises.
