Liangjiang adds new intelligent factory

A new cutting-edge intelligent factory from Automation & Robotics, launched on Nov 24 in Liangjiang New Area, is set to integrate the research, development, manufacturing, testing, and training of intelligent logistics robots and achieve an annual output value of 1 billion yuan ($140.95 million).

Automation & Robotics provides advanced logistics solutions through its proprietary Matrix8 system, known for its high flexibility and return on investment. The company ranks second globally in pallet shuttle sales and has delivered numerous large-scale, dense storage projects worldwide.

The new factory exemplifies the in-depth integration of AI and robotics technology, showcasing the self-developed "Matrix8 Intelligent Storage and Picking System".

Xu Qingcai, general manager of Automation & Robotics, has said that the system is built on "one intelligent software platform and four standard robot product lines", enabling mixed storage, handling, and picking of pallets, bins, and irregular items.

This system offers limitless adaptability across space, processes, and ecosystems, catering to the specific needs of both existing warehouse renovations and new warehouse construction.

Robots manufactured at the facility comply with international certification standards, such as ISO 9001 and CE, facilitating Automation & Robotics' business expansion across China, Japan, and the Middle East.
