Chongqing expands international flight network to 36 routes

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has enhanced its global connectivity, expanding its international flight network to 36 routes, including the addition of three new international routes.

Beginning Dec 8, West Air will launch a direct flight from Chongqing to Yangon, Myanmar. The route will operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. The outbound flight will depart Chongqing at 09:35, arriving in Yangon at 11:20. The return flight is scheduled to leave Yangon at 12:15, landing back in Chongqing at 15:45.

Starting Dec 10, Sichuan Airlines will resume its direct flights from Chongqing to Phuket, Thailand. The service will operate three times a week.

Outbound flights are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing Chongqing at 20:20 and arriving in Phuket at 23:30. The return flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing Phuket at 00:30 and arriving in Chongqing at 05:25.

Chongqing launched its first direct passenger flight to Brussels, Belgium on Nov 22. The route operates three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The outbound flight leaves Chongqing at 02:50, arriving in Brussels at 07:35. The return flight departs Brussels at 11:20, arriving in Chongqing the following day at 05:10.

The airport now offers connections to a diverse range of international destinations, including major cities such as Seattle, London, and Jakarta.
