The Youth Automotive Science Education Base, located in Liangjiang New Area's Lijia subdistrict, opened on Dec 22. The initiative is part of a broader effort to implement the "service for the elderly and young" policy and support the development of Chongqing's "15-minute convenient living circle".

The base, open daily from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, features science education, tech model competitions, and community science and innovation experiments. It also offers a comprehensive experience system, including exhibitions, lectures, and hands-on activities.

These programs showcase China's impressive automotive achievements, red culture, and themes such as the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute's "Automotive Index for Good", which aims to instill concepts of technological ethics and safety in young minds.

The facility also brings cutting-edge technology resources to the community, including humanoid robots, 3D printers, and drone power-system test rigs.

It features a leading domestic humanoid-robot interactive display platform, enabling young people to experience the latest technological advancements in their neighborhood.

The base is also developing a science and technology sports section, complete with a professional vehicle model track and a drone training field. It offers systematic courses in vehicle model control and drone soccer training programs, designed to enhance engineering thinking and practical skills among youth.

The base conducts activities to develop innovative thinking and practical skills, focusing on nurturing students with special talents in vehicle models, drones, and robotics.
