A state-of-the-art skatepark — the largest in Chongqing — has opened in Liangjiang New Area.
The park features two primary sections: a bowl area and a street area. The bowl section includes shallow and deep bowls, a volcano platform, and transitional curves, designed to meet the needs of intermediate and advanced skaters performing complex maneuvers such as aerials and grabs.
The street section contains stairs, ramps, pyramids, and ledges, making it ideal for everyday practice and suitable for hosting both municipal and national skateboarding competitions.
The facility will serve as a central training hub for the city's skateboarders, providing essential venue support for athletes preparing for the National Games and the Asian Games.
Liangjiang's flourishing skateboarding scene was highlighted during the 2024 Chongqing Sports Games, where local skaters clinched five gold, four silver, and three bronze medals, cementing the area's reputation as a skateboarding stronghold.
The skatepark is also integrated into the ecological landscape of Jinzhou Park, offering a harmonious blend of professional facilities and natural surroundings.
Jinzhou Park is a comprehensive urban oasis that combines cityscapes, ecological leisure, and fitness activities, providing diverse recreational spaces for citizens of all ages.
