Liangjiang launches IP center

The Chongqing Mingyue Lake Digital Technology Industry Intellectual Property (IP) Operation Center, located in Liangjiang New Area, is now operational.

The center focuses on resource integration and sharing, patent transformation and utilization, and industry service and ecosystem development. It offers a multi-dimensional IP operation function, including storage, display, trusteeship, consulting, evaluation, and transaction operations.

The center has built an integrated "online + offline" service platform to identify high-value patents and display patent supply and demand information, with 4,443 entries listed. It has also stored nearly 100 patents from key enterprises such as Changan Automobile and Deepal Automotive.

The center has organized more than 60 matchmaking events, facilitating over 500 patent transfers and licenses for 49 enterprises. It also hosted a competition, selecting 10 high-quality industrialization projects and advancing two of them to full industrial application.

The center provides services such as financing needs collection, bank-enterprise matchmaking, and filing agency support. As a result, 59 enterprises have secured IP-pledge financing totaling 290 million yuan ($41.64 million).

The center also offers patent navigation services in industries such as low-altitude economy and new energy vehicles, and provides "investment and support" project IP analysis and evaluation services, assisting with investments in five projects totaling nearly 40 million yuan.

The center has connected resources from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It has delivered a series of training programs to over 2,000 employees to enhance IP management in small and medium-sized enterprises.
