The Chongqing International Trade Digital Platform is transforming global trade for local businesses, with over 1,000 companies now benefiting from its comprehensive services.

The platform has introduced nearly 400 service offerings and processed approximately 2.2 million customs declarations since its launch in January 2025, with total foreign trade imports and exports exceeding 100 billion yuan ($14.38 billion).

Mu Yunbo, the platform's director, emphasized its role in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by breaking down data barriers between government and market entities and connecting logistics, warehousing, and sales.

The platform offers specialized services for both new and used car exports, including vehicle sourcing, logistics, customs clearance, and financial services. It also integrates resources from the domestic automotive equipment industrial chain, providing digital transaction operations, cross-border e-commerce, and digital supply chain services.

A comprehensive service system has been developed — covering business preparation, operations, logistics, and warehousing — to support the cross-border e-commerce industry.

The platform, in collaboration with 20 financial institutions, including banks and insurance companies, offers nearly 100 financial products. These have facilitated the management of approximately 2 billion yuan in foreign exchange settlements and 200 million yuan in export tax refunds.

It seeks to refine business processes, optimize enterprise services, enhance data sharing, and integrate foreign trade resources, thereby advancing its capabilities in business operations, service delivery, financial management, settlement, and data management.
