A delegation from the Singapore Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Chamber visited the Jiangbeizui Accounting Industrial Park in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area on Jan 28.
The delegation visited several leading accounting firms, industry-academia integration bases, and professional service platforms, gaining valuable insights along the way into the park's achievements in terms of industry aggregation and service innovation.
Zhu Xiaodong, director of the Accounting Division at the Chongqing Municipal Finance Bureau, provided an overview of the industrial park's development.
Ang Yuit, president of the chamber, introduced the delegation and shared their collaborative vision. Wendy Wu, the China representative of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, discussed the association's efforts to internationalize professional accounting services.
The partnership will focus on building a talent cultivation system and launching specialized training programs for high-quality, multidisciplinary accounting talents. Exchange activities will also be conducted to promote resource and information sharing.
Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening practical cooperation between Singaporean and Chinese enterprises in finance, law, and accounting, creating a professional service ecosystem that operates internationally.
