Seres, a leading player in the new energy vehicle sector, has reported impressive January sales, delivering 43,034 vehicles, a 140.33 percent year-on-year increase.
The company's high-end brand, Aito, performed exceptionally well, with 40,016 new vehicle deliveries, an 83 percent increase compared to last year, with this rapid growth largely attributed to its innovative cross-industry integration.
Seres and Huawei have engaged in in-depth cross-sector collaboration since 2021, focusing on technology development, product definition, brand building, and channel synergy.
As a result, Aito has launched four major models — the M5, M7, M8, and M9 — priced from 200,000 to 600,000 yuan ($86,400). The brand also reached its first milestone of 1 million units under the cross-industry integration model in just 46 months.
The Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, an intelligent automotive technology ecosystem formed by Huawei in 2023 in collaboration with Seres, Chery, and other automakers, has unveiled images of the forthcoming M6 model. According to Yu Chengdong, Huawei's executive director, it will launch this spring.
Seres is also investing in advanced technologies such as embodied intelligence, positioning itself for a new growth trajectory.
