The Mingyue Lake Lilac Incubator, part of the Harbin Institute of Technology Chongqing Research Institute in Liangjiang New Area, has been recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a high-tech incubator.

To date, the incubator has nurtured 23 high-tech enterprises. Among them, Huajiang Zexi Technology's self-developed hazardous waste management system stands out as Chongqing’s first certified software product in this field and is now utilized by industry leaders, including Changan Automobile and Hongyu Precision Industry.

A comprehensive service system has been established in the incubator, encompassing concept validation, pilot maturation, incubation cultivation, and industrialization. Its advanced materials pilot platform boasts five specialized production lines, including those for silicon nitride ceramic substrates and high-end packaging domestic replacement potting compounds.

In 2025, the incubator secured more than 50 invention patents and completed 15 technology transfers, generating over 17 million yuan ($2.46 million) in pilot service revenue. Its aerospace digital-intelligence application center evaluates the technical feasibility and commercial potential of early-stage projects, helping bridge the gap between the laboratory and the market.

The incubator has committed to hosting 15 R&D teams and has already incubated over 120 companies.

Authorities are also guiding incubation platforms to focus on niche sectors such as aerospace, new energy vehicles, and intelligent consumer electronics, fostering a symbiotic ecosystem of "comprehensive incubators + specialized incubators."

By the end of 2025, the incubators had nurtured 533 projects, generating 870 million yuan in revenue, with 85 incubated companies securing nearly 1 billion yuan in financing.
