Liangjiang adds three green factories

Three companies from Shuitu New City in Liangjiang New Area have been included on the 2025 list of green factories and green industrial parks, as recently announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The three companies are Corning Display Technologies (Chongqing) Co, Chongqing E-ong Optoelectronics Technology Co, and Chongqing BOE Technology Co.

E-ong Optoelectronics specializes in the research, production, and sale of display control boards and precision die-cut parts. It makes products in four key sectors: display electronics, automotive electronics, IoT electronics, and semiconductor electronics.

The company produces and sells over 100 million display control boards annually, making it the largest LCD control board manufacturer in China.

Corning Display operates an 8.5-generation LCD glass substrate post-processing factory — the company's second display glass substrate production base in China. It manufactures glass substrates, bolstering the ongoing enhancement and expansion of the optoelectronic display industry chain in Liangjiang.

Shuitu is now home to seven national-level green factories and one national-level green supply chain management enterprise. The area is advancing high-end, intelligent, and green manufacturing, accelerating the development of a comprehensive green manufacturing and service system.

Shuitu aims to cultivate a modern manufacturing cluster system, focusing on the electronic information and life health industries.
