The Chongqing Natural Resources Science Museum, located in Liangjiang New Area, spans 5,000 square meters and is home to four main exhibition halls, including the Geological Evolution Hall, Life Evolution Hall, and Natural Resources Hall.

One of the museum's most striking features is the display of two colossal dinosaur fossils: a 24-meter-long, 3.8-meter-high Jurassic Mamenchisaurus and a giant dinosaur from the Cretaceous period.

The Life Evolution Hall is a treasure trove of paleontological wonders, showcasing six of the museum's most prized exhibits. Among them are fossils of the Pu'an Yunyang Dragon, Modao Creek Three Gorges Dragon, and Primitive Bashan Dragon, as well as two nearly 2-meter-tall fossils of the Bashan Giant Panda.

A unique highlight is the "Chongqing Scroll" in the Geological Evolution Hall — a 15-meter-long "rock scroll" crafted from 360 rocks representing different geological eras, illustrating Chongqing's 800-million-year history.

The museum also offers a comprehensive overview of the region's natural wealth, displaying over 100 of China's 173 known mineral resources and providing insights into the diverse natural resources found across Chongqing's expansive 82,400 square kilometers, including its mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and minerals.
