HP's (Hewlett-Packard) AI factory in Liangjiang New Area has commenced mass production, with plans to achieve an annual output of 300,000 units and potential revenue of 2.5 billion yuan ($363 million) this year.

The factory is an AI system integration and smart modification center, specializing in applying AI to enhance product features, integrate smart algorithms, and provide personalized configuration upgrades, thereby improving intelligent interaction, efficient computing, and scenario adaptation capabilities.

It boasts a highly efficient production process that completes hardware upgrades, installs AI software, and performs operational testing in under 20 minutes.

Three production lines are currently operational, enabling the AI transformation of approximately 1,000 laptops per day, but according to a factory representative, plans are underway to establish five production lines, aiming for a daily capacity of 2,000 units.

To support this growth, the factory is accelerating recruitment efforts and collaborating with local research institutes to upgrade production line technology, ensuring continuous capacity enhancement.

The factory is recognized as a high-level industrial complex in China, focusing on commercial AI PCs, all-in-one machines, and accessories, aiming to develop a comprehensive AI hub that integrates intelligent manufacturing, sales, and ecosystem empowerment.
