Liangjiang processing trade industrial park

The Liangjiang New Area processing trade industrial park has been recognized as a national-level park, focusing on bonded processing, smart manufacturing, and bonded trade industries.

This park has developed a cluster centered around electronic terminal products, including laptops, smartphones, and smart wearables. Supporting sectors such as international logistics and bonded finance have been established to bolster the industrial chain, contributing to an annual industrial output value approaching 100 billion yuan ($14.65 billion).

The park, located in the Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, serves as a key starting point for various international multimodal transport routes, utilizing rail, air, water, and roads.

The zone integrates four special areas: the Free Trade Zone, Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Customs Special Supervision Zone, and Trade Function Zone. It is home to Chongqing's sole Free Trade Zone Enterprise Service Center, where business registration can be completed in a single day.

The zone offers 24/7 customs clearance services. It also offers living and business facilities, including international schools, accommodations, and business services.

The zone had attracted over 5,000 enterprises as of the end of 2025, including 22 Global Fortune 500 companies and 24 China's Fortune 500 companies. Its annual industrial output value reached 100 billion yuan, with imports and exports reaching 200 billion yuan.

Authorities are committed to promoting the transformation and upgrading of processing trade enterprises, seeking to push them toward the high end of the industrial value chain in areas such as branding, research and development, distribution, and settlement.
