Changan and Tencent launch intelligence audio lab in Liangjiang

Changan Automobile and Tencent Music Entertainment have unveiled the SDA Intelligence Audio Lab in Liangjiang New Area, addressing the industry's need for systematic AI acoustic development and standardization in intelligent cabins.

The lab has integrated QQ Music's next-generation premium panoramic sound technology into Changan's mass-produced models, which will be featured at the 2026 Time Day - Tencent Smart Mobility Technology Open Day.

He Gang, vice-president of Changan Automobile, said, "Changan's SDA Intelligence has built a robust framework that spans concept definition, full-stack technology development, deep ecological integration, and validation in world-class labs. Our goal is to redefine in-car audio standards, making spatial audio experiences more perceptible and personalized, and providing users with a new, safe, and high-quality smart mobility experience."

The partnership will focus on innovative areas such as high-quality multimedia experiences, AI panoramic sound, and spatial audio interaction, fostering the co-evolution of acoustic technology with intelligent driving and cabin interaction, and propelling vehicles toward becoming evolvable intelligent spaces.
