Bicv Technology Co and Horizon Robotics have signed a cooperation agreement to combine Bicv's "AI + Beidou" full-stack technological capabilities with Horizon's cutting-edge single-chip central computing architecture.
This collaboration aims to develop highly integrated, high-performance, and cost-effective next-generation smart vehicle solutions.
Bicv will implement Horizon's Starry chip platform, overcoming the traditional dual-domain hardware barriers of smart driving + cockpit. The single-chip integrated design will unify complex computing power, enabling more seamless and efficient vehicle functionalities.
The collaboration will streamline the entire process, from chip R&D to system integration and mass production, fostering efficient industry synergy that could accelerate the deployment of the Starry solution.
Bicv also showcased an advanced cockpit-driving integration platform based on Horizon's Starry chip at the signing ceremony, highlighting the joint R&D achievements of both companies.
Zhang Jingfeng, president of Bicv, said that they will deepen their technical collaboration and market expansion efforts to upgrade smart vehicle technology, providing users with a safer, smarter, and more enjoyable travel experience.
Bicv will launch the advanced cockpit-driving integration platform, BDipper, based on Horizon's Starry, at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition set to be held from April 24 to May 3.
