Changan Automobile achieved impressive sales in April, selling a total of 209,500 vehicles. This marked a crucial step in strengthening Chongqing's position as a hub for intelligent, connected new energy vehicles.

Changan delivered 94,200 new energy vehicles in April, a 32.2 percent increase compared with the same period last year. Deepal, an NEV brand under Changan, sold 33,187 units, a remarkable 64.8 percent year-over-year growth.

The company also expanded its product lineup with the launch of several new models, including the Avatr 12, Avatr 06T, and the all-new Deepal S07.

Changan has established 22 manufacturing bases overseas, including facilities in Thailand and Brazil, with a total annual production capacity of 350,000 vehicles. The company’s global sales network now extends across 118 countries and regions.

Changan's overseas deliveries surged to 72,700 units in April, a 69.9 percent increase from the previous year. The company has set an ambitious target of achieving 1.5 million in overseas sales by 2030.

Changan continues to make significant progress in intelligent driving. After obtaining China's first official license for L3-level autonomous driving last December, the company has now secured a license for L4-level self-developed Robotaxi testing.
